You’ve heard the saying “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans…..”
So I was flying on Saturday for a conference in Vegas. I was sitting in window seat, because I am an 8 year old trapped in a AARP members body.
We are flying over a portion of the Grand Canyon, something that never gets old for me. I’ve got my earbuds in…listening to Adele…. wonderful moment….
When I hear a voice…..
“Excuse me…can you lower the shade…. the glare is reflecting on to my wife book and she can’t read…”
So I say “sure” and bring it down 3/4 of the way…
The books she’s reading? A Fodor’s travel guide….
Irony much?
